Forms & Feedback

Feedback –

  • If the user doesn’t know what happened, they are lost. (and sad.)
  • Sound is a great indicator
  • Make errors very apparent

Forms –

  • Make error messages immediate – there’s nothing worse than having to fill a form again for 1 mistake.
  • Don’t ask the user to take more steps than necessary.
  • Try to make it so obvious that instructions are not necessary.

Assignment –

Design a donation form for an organization that feeds the hungry in NYC.
