Bionic Power – the company.
This article was much more understandable to me than the others we’ve read. It was written in more conversational english and the comparisons it made were more accessible to those with general knowledge, for example, comparing the device to the regenerative breaking of a car.
I can appreciate the efforts of this study. Clearly focused on a solution that allowed minimal effort by the user, they also went on to prove that more power could be created by breaking this rule. As someone who is not accustomed to reading about work like this, I wonder what percentage throws out predictions of where the technology could go. How inspiring to think about internal medical devices powered by the human body itself.
I wish I could try one of these devices– how nice to have a charged phone!
